PiR’s chosen charity for 2017

PiR are supporting a fantastic charity in 2017: Antibiotic Research UK. As resistance to antibiotics continues to rise urgent research is needed as 44,000 people from young to old die every year from Sepsis.

Antibiotic Research is investigating the over prescription of antibiotics to patients, reducing the use of antibiotics in farming, promoting improved hygiene practices in hospitals and poor personal hygiene and the slow diagnosis of resistant infections.

Although we are a small team we fund raise through the year with various events and fundraising ideas, we know that any support is invaluable to charity. PiR as a team enjoy being able to give something back, as we are focused on recruiting in the life science sector we always choose a life science related charity.
