Description

Our client, a Leading Biopharma based in the heart of London is recruiting for an Interim Market Access Director to play a major role in leading International NASH development of the value story and health economic argument. This role will lead the operational localisation of reimbursement dossiers across International, ensuring alignment with market access strategy for Obeticholic acid (OCA) across both affiliate and distributor markets and is forecasted to last 6 months initially.

Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for developing International input on the value story and health economics for inclusion in the Global Value Dossier and deliver training of market access leads in affiliate and distributor markets, ensuring that the local affiliates are aligned to the global strategy and are well equipped for submissions to reimbursement authorities. This role will be responsible for ensuring that International Market Access strategy is implemented across International markets. In addition, you will be operationally responsible for supporting International HTA submissions; supporting affiliates with additional analyses and data requests for the organisation to support economics.

There will be considerable work to utilise data from across the organisation for individual submission needs and to develop economic messages to support expanded access for OCA. This will include, liaising with the Global biostatistics team regarding additional needs for data and analyses and close working with International and Global Health Outcomes research.

Claims data base analyses will also feature in this role working cross functionally with affiliate market access, medical affairs and outcomes research to develop economics to support patient access.

Requirements include:
The successful candidate will enjoy autonomy and be confident in building strong relationships across the affiliate market access group. You will have an innovative view of market access, willing to challenge current ways of approaching reimbursement dossiers and economic submissions and be confident to challenge internal thinking with new ideas from their previous working experience in this area. Best practice sharing will also ensure that we are constantly learning as a team.

It is anticipated that this role will involve regular travel (every 4-6 weeks) to EU and other international travel as required.
