I’ve been a member of the PiR team for a number of years and during my time with the organisation I’ve developed my skill set and progressed in my career as the business has grown. I started out as a Project Administrator then became the Business Services Manager with responsibility for many different areas – a role too varied to capture completely in a short paragraph! In November 2016 I became the Business Operations Director with overall responsibility for Facilities, Operations and Finance. At PiR we encourage you to ‘own’ your role in the business and to take on additional responsibilities – you ‘get out what you put in!’ Although PiR is a small business, there is the commitment and personal development plans you’d expect to see in a larger organisation. I joined the PiR team in January 2012 as a Resourcing Coordinator, at the time I had limited recruitment experience but the collaborative working environment and the thorough induction program I received very quickly allowed me to increase my knowledge base and feel a valued member of the team. In November 2012, I was promoted to Senior Resourcing Business Partner and later after expressing a desire to do so with the leadership team, it was agreed that my focus would be on Executive Search, a specialism which to this date I maintain and very much enjoy! In 2015 I became Senior Executive Researcher, Life Sciences. Throughout my time at PiR, I have received a tailored approach to my personal development and have felt supported by the company and my colleagues every step of the way.
